Soil By Fatimah and Phoebe

In soil there are lots of types of things. There are worms, leaves, sand, water, plants, air holes, roots and twigs. The roots in the soil were waving around like a flower on a windy day. There was wet mud and we got our hands very dirty. Me and phoebe found a very fat, slippery worm. Fatimah and I got our hands very dirty because the soil was hard to take apart, so we had to get our hands stuck into the soil to take it apart. In our soil we found extremely small baby worms. Me and Phoebe saw the baby worms stretching across the soil. There were a huge amount of roots and they were as strong as wires. There were pieces of grass in the middle of the wet mushy soil. The soil looked like Loam because it had worms and dead plants and that is called organic matter, that is what Loam includes. We hope you enjoyed reading our science lesson as much as we liked doing it.

All about my cat

I have a cat what we got from my cousins in London. At London my sister wanted a ginger cat. Me and my dad wanted a black cat but ginger cats do lots of bad stuff .We called my cat Patch because she has two white patches, one on her neck and one on her belly button . Patch likes to sleep and her favourite colour is reddy pink. Patch’s birthday is in February and she will be two years old then. Patch is a big cat now.

Children in need.

What do children in need do with the money.

The money will go to the children in need also goes to the intensive care unit at the Bolton hospital. We give money to the children in need because some of them can be blind, deaf or maybe have no arms.At school we where our pyjamas to help support the children in need.Children in need play games and do other things.

Children In Need.

Mr.Mitchell bought Iggal Piggal into school on Friday. Everybody wore their pyjamas to school to raise money for children in need. The money went to Bolton Hospice and ICU in Bolton Hospital. We all paid £1 each and 30p for a Pudsey Bear cup cake. Everyone looked funny in assembly especially the teachers! At dinner time, for dessert we all had a Pudsey Bear biscuit.

What Do Children In Need Do With The Money People Raise For Them?
The money raised for Children In Need goes to the people who are less fortunate than we are or they might be disabled. To raise money at my school everyone brought in a pound to come to school in their pyjamas. A yellow bear called Pudsey represents Children In Need and he wears an eyepatch on his right eye, this might mean he is blind in his right eye. On Friday Mr Mitchell had brought in Iggle Piggle from In The Night Garden.

Eid Mubarak

Muslims believe in Allah that is their God.  On this Eid  lots of people go to Hajj in Makkah which is in a country called Saudi Arabia, where the Kaba  is.  The Kaba is a cube shape. I have visited Makkah and have seen the Kaba and have touched the walls. The Kaba is bigger than our house.

On Eid  I got six toy cars as presents, I wore new clothes and in the evening we went to my cousins where I played on the space hopper.  At my granddad’s  I had a picnic with my sister. I ate cheese and kebab sandwiches , some cup cakes, biscuits, an ice lolly and drank vimto.

I enjoyed my |Eid Day.
